R & D Consulting was founded in 1991 by David Sands who has been in the recruiting / staffing services industry since 1986. After graduating with a degree in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University David started to work for one of the pioneers in the staffing industry and decided in 1991 with a loyal and distinguished clientele to open R & D Consulting. David, being a native New Yorker is very familiar with the Tri-State area and with R & D’s main office in midtown Manhattan and another office in Northern, New Jersey we strive and take pride on meeting, interviewing and personally preparing every candidate that we refer out. Our extensively growing database of candidates is constantly being built by a steady stream of candidates by referrals from clients / other candidates, advertisements ( On Line Help Wanted ), direct recruiting, or by our staff who are constantly searching on all the major job boards to find that special candidate. At R & D Consulting we take pride in our job to find ”that diamond in the rough” or “ the needle in the haystack “ candidate. R & D Consulting is always searching for and keeping in constant contact with premier candidates who might be passively looking until the right job is presented to them.
R & D Consulting has over the years has successfully placed candidates in Financial Sales, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Compliance, Entry Level and Support Personnel in various diverse industries. From exempt, none exempt entry to management level positions. But beginning in the mid to late 90’s there has been an unparalleled need in the Tri-State Area for qualified candidates at all levels in the financial services industry. Since then R & D has spent much of its time and resources servicing this specific industry. However due to the recent turbulence and changes in the financial services landscape, R & D Consulting while still specializing in the financial service industry, has been diversifying into other industries as well.
